What is Hypnotherapy?

Western Hypnotherapy is a tool which we can use to heal and integrate our physical, metal and emotional health. Unlike Eastern Hypnosis,  western Hypnotherapy works on both conscious and subconscious mind. During therapy, client's conscious mind remains partially active so he/ she would understand the deep rooted patterns of his subconscious mind and resolves it with the guidance of certified hypnotherapist.

Hypnosis is a different state of  consciousness which you can naturally enter so that, for therapeutic purposes, beneficial corrections may be given directly to your subconscious mind. In this way, hypnosis is an effective way of making contact with our inner self, which is both a reservoir of unrecognized potential and knowledge as well as being the unwitting source of many of our problems.
It is a fact that no-one can be hypnotized against their will and even when hypnotized, a person can still reject any suggestion. Thus clinical hypnosis is a state of purposeful (confidential) co-operation.

As we all know that there are two hemispheres of the brain connected by a series of nerve endings. i.e. conscious and subconscious mind.

Right brain, the subconscious being 88 to 90% of the total mind capacity functions through the right brain which in turn comprises of 88 to 90% of the total brain mass. It excels in unfocused searches for meaning. This is the creative, artistic portion of the brain.

Left brain, is the logical conscious mind. it reasons and analyses more than the right side. It tends to do things in sequences or steps. The conscious mind being 10- 12% of the total mind capacity functions through the left brain which in turn comprises 10- 12% of total brain mass.

During therapy , the hypnotherapist helps the client to relax and connect to his/ her subconscious mind with suggestions  and reach to the deeper level of subconscious mind, where it is possible for client to heal and resolve the issues at subconscious level.
